Whether you are just discovering (or rediscovering) your creative spirit, or you've been creating for years, mindfulness art journaling can be an amazing tool for self-discovery and to cultivate your creativity.During this workshop you will be immersed in an art journaling experience.  I am here to hold the space and guide you to create and imagine through words and paint. Here the focus is on the process rather than the result. The "goal" is to play, to explore, to start anywhere and see where the process takes you. More than just writing or making art, mindfulness art journaling can be a great path towards opening up to being more creative in a way that feels safe and contained. Even a few minutes a day of mindful art journaling can go a long way in improving mood, lowering anxiety, and fostering a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. This workshop is are held at our Canton art studio. Your contribution covers all art supplies and refreshments and it also helps us be able to provide creative mindfulness activities for women and children living in shelters. Art training, talent or experience are not at all necessary. All you need to do is show up and be present, even in the face of the unknown
